How to keep browser info from printing website details

I wanted to print a page I was looking at on a website from my browser. When I did it printed the website address at the top and the time I printed it at the bottom. I wanted a nicer looking print, so I set out on how to fix this.

Firefox and Explorer are both about the same for this tip. I show the picture tutorial with my own FireFox browser.

You can turn this off in the Page Setup. Go to File > Page Setup and remove the tags in the Header and Footer boxes. This will provide a clean print of the page without the noted headers and footers.

First go to file in your browser. First go to file in your browser.
Second, go to page setup Second, go to page setup
Third, go to Margins & Header/Footer Third, go to Margins & Header/Footer
Forth, go to the ones you want to remove. If you want to remove the website address, it is the URL setting. Title would print the very top blue bar, which on this page it would print Mozilla Firefox Start Page. The rest are self explanatory.
I personally removed the date and time. It prints the time and date of printing. I personally didn't need to time and date printed on my paper. I went ahead and removed it, but you may want it or you can even move it to the center or the top.
Click OK If you like the settings, click on OK and everything will take effect immediately.

Let me know what you think or if you have a story to share.
